First and Foremost Shout out to the WitchDoctor for the general idea and table-work. Now to the info, Robots are used as weapons by many different people. They are most often humanoid-looking creations, but depending on the creator, can resemble anything. They can be fashioned in a manner that uses every part as a weapon, giving the user a myriad of ways to manipulate it. Robots are all range type weapons that can be used offensively, defensively or for supplementary reasons, and are controlled via a power source either internal and external. Based on their design and build their weakness is usually their joints though this is not always the case. Robots can be made from various materials and they don't always look like robots, really the sky is the limit within reason of course.
1.) All robots require a power source to use, no matter if its internal or external. Also there has to be a way to control said robot to do your bidding whether it is in their programming or a remote control or whatever.[break][break]
2.) Using a robot's weapons does not require any work on the users part. Unless the weaponry is manufactured in a way where it is required, in which case it would cost as much stamina as the movement itself would take. Also the same can be said for robots who could utilize the users quirk in someway (though this requires some kind of connection between user and robot).[break][break]
3.) No user may use more than ten robots at one time, while a character can have more for balance purposes no user will be able to fight using more than ten robots at a time.[break][break]
4.) Users have a limit to how many robots they can control per rank, this means D ranked characters can't control ten puppets from the start.[break][break]
ROBOT CONTROL CAPABILITIES[break]
* E-rank - 1 puppet[break]
* D-rank - 2 puppets[break]
* C-rank - 5 puppets[break]
* B-rank - 8 puppets[break]
* A-rank - 10 puppets[break]
All robots have some form of lag when responding to their user, this isn't often noticeable against normal people; however as one learns to increase their speed and reflexes the lag becomes less noticeable than before. Due to the nature of robotics, one's ability to effectively use robots is solely dependent on one's engineering skill. Naturally, the higher one's engineering skill, the better a user can perform and fight with their robots. This will be added as a Special Traits slot for the application for your character along with a ranking and a short description if you cannot think up a description just personalize what is below. Also while your rank in engineering will be E the below descriptions are based on the E ranked base ability per character rank.[break][break]
The chart below designates the number of robots of each rank one can start with, depending on one's own character ranking. It should be noted that these numbers are what an engineer can start with, and like techniques, more can be created later on.[break][break]

Robotics Skills
Cuz not Everyone can be a Robot Genius
- E: The user is new to the art of robotics and as such the movements of one's robot will be incredibly jerky and semi unresponsive. Controlling a robot at this stage is exceedingly difficult, and as such, engaging in combat with robots is practically impossible due to the sheer concentration required.[break]
- D: The user will have a harder time controlling their robot(s) because they are still new to robotics and often have less control of a robot than an experienced user. So naturally, the robot won't respond immediately making it more vulnerable to attacks. The user cannot focus very well while controlling the robot having to give it all their attention in order to make it respond properly.[break]
- C: The user has enough experience with their robots that lets them adapt to it, still not perfect at controlling their robots but they can still move them better than they could previously. They don't need to focus so much to make their robot respond, so the user will still be vulnerable while controlling there robot and often cannot move at their natural speed while using it. If the user does move they will be slowed if trying to control the puppet at the same time.[break]
- B: The user is fairly confident in their skill and they have gotten completely used to the lag that robotics have. They undergo the normal amount of focus and their robots seem to respond faster than they did at a lower ranks. They can also move around at normal speeds while focusing on their robots.[break]
- A: The user is now considered a master engineer; the lag between the user and their robot is practically invisible now that their robot are able to react on the same level as humans. They can easily dodge attacks and even kick away enemies with ease now. Controlling a robot is second nature so that if they aren't even hindering their focus. However, if the user does focus their robot will easily be able to push back anything assaulting the user. The lag is still noticeable and can be exploited if the user has more robots out but it is nearly impossible to get close. Many are advised to simply retreat when facing the user as most will fall to them. Even other engineers have learned to retreat after merely a few seconds of battle. Their robots are also very lifelike if the user wishes them to be, most assume they are humans until they enter battle.[break]
- S: The user has exceeded mastery, one's robots having become a true extension of the user's own body; the lag between the engineer and their robot is now non-existent, appearing as if the user's robots are moving seconds before the user has performed an action. robots at this stage are able to match even the most agile and strongest of elite characters; the user is able to engage in full-out combat and retain full control of all robots present on the battlefield. At this stage, engineers are truly legendary in their skill, being able to effectively fight and split their attention between numerous opponents at once, essentially becoming "a battalion of one."
The Chart
You Probably Guessed There Would be a Chart
The chart below designates the number of robots of each rank one can start with, depending on one's own character ranking. It should be noted that these numbers are what an engineer can start with, and like techniques, more can be created later on.[break][break]

E | One | N/A | N/A | N/A | N/A | N/A | |
D | Two | One | N/A | N/A | N/A | N/A | |
C | Four | Three | Two | N/A | N/A | N/A | |
